Weber Shandwick MENA has been officially recognised as a ‘Great Place To Work’ in the UAE in 2014 by the Great Place to Work Institute UAE, part of a global research, training and consultancy firm that recognises the best workplaces in over 50 countries worldwide. Weber Shandwick MENA, which has two offices in the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) was ranked #9 among 15 shortlisted organisations and is the only standalone PR firm in the region to have made the ranking since its Middle East inception in 2011.
The official list, published in the February issue of Business PIONEER magazine and announced on Dubai Eye radio, is a shortlisted ranking of the nation’s 15 best employers drawn from all the many entries received and is based on the confidential feedback of employees and an audit of management practices.
“The Great Place to Work ranking is hotly contested and we are delighted to be recognised with this honour. We are very proud of our colleagues whose collaboration, dedication and commitment to client service is evident every day”, said Ziad Hasbani, CEO, Weber Shandwick MENA.
Commenting on the Top Companies list, David Robert, Chief Executive Officer of Great Place to Work Gulf, said: “This is the strongest level of competition we have seen since launching the Top Companies programme in 2010. The high scores we recorded are testament to the efforts these UAE companies are making to enhance their workplace experience so that ultimately their employees stay longer and are higher achieving, with a greater level of personal and professional satisfaction.”
